Organoid-Guided Therapy Selection in Pancreatic Cancer

Using patient-derived organoids to predict which treatments will work for each pancreatic cancer patient.

Pancreatic cancer responds unpredictably to the chemotherapy regimens used in standard care. This project grows patient-derived organoids from tumour biopsies and tests them against the drugs a patient might receive, asking whether organoid response predicts what happens in the clinic. The goal is a turnaround fast enough to inform real treatment decisions and a pipeline that can be embedded in routine care.
