Most pancreatic cancers are found too late for curative treatment. This project develops and validates circulating tumour DNA and protein-marker assays for earlier detection in high-risk groups, and for tracking minimal residual disease after surgery. Working from longitudinal patient cohorts, the team evaluates how early a blood test can flag disease and how reliably it reflects what the tumour is doing.
