Priya Vanderlin, MD, PhD

Priya is a pediatric hematologist/oncologist and physician-scientist. She completed her MD and PhD at the University (developmental cell biology, in a major research group), pediatric residency at the Hospital, and a pediatric heme/onc fellowship before joining the faculty in 2018. Her clinical focus is Phase-I trials in relapsed and refractory pediatric solid tumors; her laboratory builds patient-derived organoid models from trial participants to study mechanisms of response and resistance. She co-chairs a national precision-medicine working group.
