Ezekiel Holt, PhD
Ezekiel leads the lab. He trained in computer science at a research university and completed his PhD in genome assembly algorithms at an external sequencing institute. He spent four years as a postdoc in a cancer-genomics group before starting at the institute in 2022. His work has consistently aimed at one question: what does a reference genome owe to the population it claims to represent.
