Wild relatives of wheat carry a reservoir of variation for disease resistance and stress tolerance that modern cultivars have lost. This project assembles genomes across a panel of wild relatives and integrates them into a pan-genome that captures presence/absence variation and structural rearrangements, providing breeders with a map of where useful diversity lives and how to access it.
